This is an exciting role for a strategic and dynamic SVP People & Culture, to lead and shape the HR function globally. You are the trusted advisor to ORTEC’s Leadership Team. With the first steps toward a global organization already taken, you’ll take ownership of the evolving HR agenda. You are an approachable and inspiring leader for the HR team, guiding them in becoming proactive business partners.

Your key focus will be to design and implement a global HR framework in alignment with the new organizational structure, respecting local adaptations. Key areas include compensation & benefits (e.g. developing a new bonus structure), talent management and engagement.

Organizational culture is also high on the agenda. Together with the Chief of Staff, you’ll shape this cultural journey, with a keen eye on the employee experience—what it truly means to be part of ORTEC. You’ll work cross-functionally with stakeholders to bring this to life.

We are looking for a seasoned HR professional who combines a people focus with strategic insight and strong business acumen. You have a hands-on approach to building scalable HR solutions grounded in global best practices.

You bring:

• At least 10 years of experience in a strategic HR role within a dynamic, international IT/data environment.
• International experience, a global outlook, multi-cultural engagements are essential.
• You have a strong personality, not afraid to speak your mind, remain flexible.
• A passion for both designing and implementing HR strategy and policies.
• Strong affinity with operational excellence, technology, data, and automation.
• A result-driven mindset with a high level of ambition.
• You are an advocate and example of secure base leadership.
• A proven track record of delivering successful international HR projects.
• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is preferred.
• An academic-level education.
• Excellent command of English.

• Serve as a key advisor to the board, providing insights on HR metrics, people strategy, and organizational development. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive strategic decisions and align HR initiatives with business objectives.
• Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement an innovative HR strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, promoting a high-performance culture and fostering employee engagement.
• Global Oversight: Oversee HR operations and initiatives across all ORTEC locations, ensuring consistency and alignment with global standards while adapting to regional needs.
• Manage a team of 25 employees.
• Act as a trusted advisor and business partner for the Leadership Team, executing the HR strategy as well as partnering with them on all HR matters.
• Take ownership on the HR agenda and provide HR consulting on topics such as engagement, talent management and compensation and benefits.
• Drive implementation/execution/communication of HR projects and processes.
• Analyze and interpret and fullfill business needs. Leverage best practices and identify opportunities for efficiencies.

As SVP People & Culture you lead an HR team of 25 professionals in different teams: Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR Administration, HR Advisory, and Local Offices & Facility. Most team members are based in Zoetermeer, other team members work in regional offices located in Germany, Romania and the U.S. You report to the Chief Operating Officer.

• The salary range for this position, depending on seniority and experience, is between €8.633 and €11.492 gross per month based on a 40 hour workweek (excluding 8% holiday allowance and a 13^th month).
